Not the greatest food I've ever had but it's definitely worth the price. Sushi is always good and the restaurant is clean with friendly service.

Went here about 9pm the Friday before Xmas. They charged full price but they didn't have any food out!!! I was charged full price with only a third of the food choices, and that third leftover was the stuff no one wanted. It was AWFUL. Everything cold and nasty. I will never set foot in this restaurant again. Chinese buffets around here only seem interested in quality and service for the first year and then they are fine letting it go to hell, and opening a new place.

Pretty good place. It definitely beats Chens Mongolian Place in my opinion. A lot of variety of food including sushi and a kind of "do it yourself" meal station where you pick what you want and the chef cooks it for you. The staff are nice, they don't talk much but they get their job done. The ambient is also nice. Worth of the money ? In my eyes, yes.

Standard buffet fare that is not very good at all but the grill not bad because you pick the raw ingrediants and they cook it on the spot. The Sushi is pretty good too as its fresh so if you load up on the fresh stuff its not too bad

Food is not good. It's like the food was left out all day. Overly priced and will not come back ever again

This place is a good deal, especially for lunch. They have a regular buffet, a sushi bar, and a hibachi grill. The only thing is that you can't wait for your food at the grill otherwise they clear your table before your finished eating. This was a terrible experience for me. I came back from the grill and my table had been cleared. If you go to grill you leave your food there and go sit down, not good because I like to watch them make it.

Newly remodeled, it's in the old Fire Mountain on Bay road. Pretty standard buffet, but the items are a step above the others in this area. There's a sushi and a 'make-your-own' dish that they cook on the grill. Clean, friendly staff, all new booths. They even have hand-dipped ice cream with lots of flavors, instead of that low quality soft-serve at some other buffets. They have take out where you pay by the lb.

They did a beautiful job with the decor, pretty much anything you want to eat, but food is mediocre at best. Most of the food is lukewarm.....

Not bad at all! This new establishment has already put one competitor out of business with its better selection and updated ambiance. Wait staff could not have been more attentive. The selection is what you would expect... Chicken, beef, pork, seafood selections as well as American fair. Great meal for the price. Restaurant is Extremely clear and well kept.

The food was on par with other oriental restaurants in the area. The waitress was rather inattentive. She didn't speak much English but sadly may be the norm at oriental restaurants. Nice atmosphere in the buffet area but the dining area in which we sat was kind of awkward with cafeteria like seating.

As others have mentioned, the decor and renovation is lovely. The food, not so much anymore. When it first opened they made fantastic sushi, with attention to detail. Now, it's got so much sticky rice on it, it's ridiculous - it looks nothing at all like the pictures one of the reviewers posted in 2013. Obviously an attempt to fill you up cheaply and make more profit. Well, I'm lost on that tactic. They've lost me and several friends as customers as a result. As for the rest of the buffet, food isn't hot enough and the seasoning they had initially is lacking. It's become boring. Blasé. They had a great thing going on at first, but they need to step it up like they did back in 2013.

Haven't been to a buffet in like 5 years. But after moving to Saginaw, thee is an overall lack of dining. When ur still fighting 200k in student debt this is how to roll. Hibachi grill is really good. Plenty of seafood and steak cooked to order. Sushi is freshly made. Cocktail shrimp wasn't really good. Shrimps look like they are premies. BBQ chicken is good. And they have the standard Americanized fried stuff w that orange sauce y'all like. Quick eat and cheap. Just don't visit too often or you'll develop diabetes or hypertension just like eating at fat food restaurants.

I was pleasantly surprised here, great food. Though I've cut down lately I'm a connoisseur of chinese buffets. Teppenyaki has instantly jumped to the top of my list. I'd say there's a blank spot or two between this and the next. Large selection of food and many items I've not seen on a chinese buffet before. There were 2 different crawfish dishes, 4 or 5 shrimp items (some still with faces), squid, all the other dishes you would expect them to have, plus more. They even have real ice cream in about 7 flavors. There was 12 plates of sushi that all looked very pretty. I don't eat it but I think it looks neat. The mongolian section wasn't huge but all ingredients looked good. The decor was nice and everything was in brand new condition. The water display and waiting area looked very nice. Staff all seemed friendly and plates and drinks were taken care of quickly. Can't wait to go back to try the mongolian and some dishes I didn't get to. I think lunch was $6.99, dinner is $9.99. Drinks are extra. They have carry out by weight but there is 3 different price levels depending if your mix was all land food, part sea food, or all seafood. It was one dollar higher per level.

Lots of varieties, but food seems typical of your Buffett restaurants. Waitress was very quick on refills and clearing plates considering the place was pretty busy.

It's a buffet, so already the food isn't great. The first time I went I wasn't too impressed. The second time I was there the quality of the food was disgusting. The vegetables in the dishes were soft and mushy. The service was pretty lame. The sushi was also pretty nasty. Overall it was a bad experience. Would not recommend going to Teppen-yuckys

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
